Rear brake light

I had to change my rear left tail light lens. I ordered one and it came from a 92 sc300 I have a sc400. My problem is that my left brake light keeps going off and I get the warning light on the dash board. When I first start up the car it is fine the brake light goes out when I drive for awhile.
does anyone else ever had this problem. It is driving me crazy. I checked the buld. I even put a new one in. It never did that before I changed the tail light lens.

same thing with me, but i replaced ALL my bulbs, bought brand new ones from lexus, ran around 20 bucks (i tried to buy the bulbs at a local auto store but that still didn't fix the problem)

I had the same problem...

I did all the same replacing and fuse checking/replacing, etc... I found that the driver side taillight would only trigger the warning light after rain. I figured out that a bit of water was getting into the casing. I drive a 95 sc300, if you have around the same car, you might check for leaks or you might waste a lot of time replacing fuses and lights..... good luck!
