The personal attacks do not affect me at all, I brush them off and is no biggie for me, and I do not respond to them, I have a new outlook when it comes to personal attacks....It is not productive and nothing can be gained from personal attacks that is the way I see it.....
Anyway, I think where our confusion maybe is how we are hp measuring. At the crank and at the wheels...? Again the first generation lexus's coming from the dealers new are rated at "250HP" stock and not 250rwhp at stock..... This is where the misunderstanding is occuring I believe. VeryLost you are referring to dyno'd hp at the wheels and I am referring to the hp measured at the crank/flywheel as the dealer has stated... Could that be the confusion here?.....

Here is my old dyno with 8 psi without intercooler. I think Bob got 379 rwhp with the same boost.

Here is my buddy Ryan's (AKA SC400TT) stock SC400 dyno

No air forced induction or nos applications, no internal mod changes, just everything outside the engine- again complete exhaust change, intake and MAF change, electrical upgrades throughout, hydo pump and a/c deletion, performance pulleys, shorter belt drive, ECU, fine tuning, ignition, performance everything outside the engine on a good compression 1UZ.. I do believe changed for performance should allow the1UZFE engine to reach a dyno test at 290-300hp at the flywheel.....
290-300rwhp not a chance, the stock cams will not flow those numbers as stated in a lex forum thread.
290-300hp at the fly is possible and has been done....
I am going to post pics of a few of my mods that produced hp gains on my 1UZFE engine. Since the thread is turning in this direction...

Verylost - Here a few mods for you - Hydro pump deletion, Dual electric fan, electrical upgrades, are you familiar with these upgrades? I believe I am one of the very few that have done these mods on an sc400...

Also of course LEX is correct that any SC400, LS400. Soarer running air forced induction can achieve big hp numbers with just stock internals, but that is not what we are talking about... Bare engine with outer mods only...
Again dynoed at 180whp. Who cares about flywheel? That's not what is going to ground. It's been proven time and time again that the 92-94 SC was overrated.
I know you wanna talk more about nitrous but I suggest you take your car to the dyno to see what it can it do with and without the nitrous. You've done some cool mods like the header and electric fan conversion to get some more HP. Good stuff. I'm sure it will do well with the mods you have done. So are you running 100 shot or 150 shot?
I don't plan on going too far with the 1UZ myself. I will leave it as is and swap to 1J or 2J one day down the road.

With a Dry NOS system the hp shot can differ, depending what the pressure in the bottle is... More pressure more horse power it is that simple... When does the bottle have the most pressure you may ask? When first charged and when you have a good heating element/core/wrap to heat the bottle... Heat expands and creates pressure is in the nos bottle which makes the nos shoot harder and faster to the engine... The nos control box has three buttons on it and that is located in my center consol the last button to the right is to activate the heating element and it can be turned on and off manually....
So for example if I have my nos bottle at 700-800 psi and spray I am looking at a true 100hp nos shot, but if I activate the heating core and let the bottle heat up to around 1300-1500 psi the 100hp nos shots becomes more like a 150hp nos shot.. That is why I say 100-150hp nitros shot......

Oh I understand now. I have a ZEX warmer that heats the bottle when the switch is on. It turns it self off when it reaches optium temperature and pressure.
For my NX kit I change the jets to change the shot. I am running jets for 150 shot.
Just got back from the dyno. I have the dyno sheets in front of me and I'll post them soon.
92 SC400, K&N drop in, cut out air box, SAFCII got me 190.5 whp
The same setup with Nitrous Express wet kit, 150hp jets, zex bottle warmer, pressure was 900psi 297.4 whp
We did not dyno tune with nitrous because I'm told leaning out with SAFCII makes the ecu advance timing = bad. Smaller jets or an Aeromotive FPR could help this situation but I'm happy with close to 300whp
On a Dyno Dynamics Dynamometer with dynojet corrected #'s.
