Hey guys first off i want to say I dont own a lexus I own a Toyota Tacoma and I am building it to race 7200 in MORE series desert racing. That being said I have to remain 6 cyl and be a toyota engine. I hear rumor of a Lexus 6cyl that makes over 400 HP stock? is this true and can someone please point me in the right direction?

If i do decide to install a lexus engine I will be sure to poke my head in here to give you guys feedback how well it does getting beat up in the desert

yep 2JZGTE engine, straight 6, capable of 300hp stock block, more with mods. the tranny can hold the power too, even the automatic!

i didn'tknow any v6 engine with over 400hp stock from toyota.

I don't know of a stock V6 pulling 400hp out the gate. Only with a little modification can that be done.

Now, it's already begun and I'm a little partial to the engine, but a 2JZGTE is what you're looking for. Without a doubt, this engine with the right modifications will be exactly what you're looking for.

Maybe a 2GR-FZE or a supercharged 2GR-FSE? They both put out about 350hp. He's probably looking for a 2JZ though.
