I'd rather have the cars stay at a lower value and more rare than having a bunch of ricers wanting to buy them and crapping them up just to give them a bad name

i dont think poeple will want to buy them more to rice them up just because the price is higher, how the heck did you come to that conclusion?

If anything id like the price to go up, i get more money for my car, more poeple cant afford to buy it and rice it up, win win situation.

As long as there is interest in a car that had low production to begin with & is not made any more, the prices will eventually go up. I doubt they will go anywhere near MKIV Supra prices, but still there were just more than 100,000 SC's produced from '91 - '00. How do I know?? I asked Lexus. Here's what they sent me:

Lexus produced 34,059 SC 300's and 78,696 SC 400/430's between 1991 and 2001

The price issue (the fact you can get many '92 - '96 SC's w/ over 100K mi for less than $10K) is that most SC owners have no clue there is a group of people like us that want these cars.

I agree with this guy. Also, The only reason why people are picking up SC's is because they couldn't find or afford a last gen Supra (Like me) and they know that the SC300 is nothing more than a "Luxury Non-turbo Supra".

i think we should raise our car price, not because i want to profit from it, but i dont want ricers buying up sc300 and drifting them everywhere and crashing them....

I think the price are going up because more and more people are noticing sc300. it is a rwd, can be very fast and can go very sideways depending on how much you want to spend.... PLUS its got the luxury parts that 240s dont have. On top of that, there are limited amount of 5-speeds around.
