The wires that I got from the lights are a different color Im sorry I forgot to note that. The wires on the little harness are different color. The darkest wire is always the negative. I think the positive is white/blue or green/orange I dont know its been almost a year. Just know that the darkest wire is the negative. You put those two together with whatever you want and run those straight to the negative battery terminal. I tucked all my wires in my fender and all that so it wouldnt look messy. As for the positives you put those two together and run then to the positive side of the switch. Your switch might have 3 pins. 2 of those you will use as positives and one is to ground the switch ( wire not pictured but you get the idea ) so the little LED light can light up when there is power running through the switch to let you know that your lights are on.

I hear your mod dims the parking/head lights because its sucking up the power that is supposed to go to the parking/head lights. Thats why some people just went ahead and used the relays.

Everything done was necessary and prudent my friend. I don't cut corners on my car and I don't have jimmy-rigged rushed-through crap on my car either. I do things the right way and spend a little extra when necessary for my own peace of mind, especially when dealing with this car's electrical system

Read some more threads on the mod and you'll see people causing shorts, blowing fuses, and creating electrical ghosts because they rushed through it, tried to cut a corner, or didn't want to spend the extra $10 necessary to do the job correctly. None of that on my car.

Would it really be that bad to wire these directly into the parking lamps and just ground them somewhere? Seems simple enough but is there any risk for trouble?

I used the instructions off of the Intellexiual website and it came out great. No trouble, but I have wired a bunch of things before. Maybe that helped. JMO

Default Ready, but questions...

I bought the yellow 55 watt bulbs to do the conversion on my 93 sc. I don't have the knowledge to do the wiring. Anyone in the 805/818 area willing to help?

yeah guys it took about a half hour for me to splice the cornering lights to the amber sidemarkers and they come on only with a half click of the headlight stick. aka turning on the city lights, ambers, and NOW cornering (fog) lights.

Thing is I have a 95 which was the year they change to actual fog lights and not cornering lights. My wiring setup will be slightly different than the intellexual.net wright up. I am looking to find out what mikeloc24 did differently. If I can find that out I can follow the rest of the steps myself.
