if you got a timing light you would have no problems. i had high NOX at 25 mph and adjusted the timing to 8 degrees, the lowest you can set it at. and passed with no problems. the first time i went to get it smogged it was at 11-12 degrees.

 

do you think I can pass if I retard the time cuss the # are really high and I have to go to a special place for the second time and they aren’t exactly cheap

 

LAst time when I smogged my M3 it was double max limit on one value.

New oil, plugs and airfilter.
A bottle of pass smog addative.
And last, but probably most important, ran the car pretty hard about 30 min, did five 0-60 runs outside the smog place and put it on the roller without any cool down time == glowing cats and passing exactly at the limit

 

Well i dorve for like a houre befor the test, my oil is fairly new,plugs should be OK, and i have a new air filter.

im goin for a second test soon i think ill try summore fuel aditive and ill try to heat her up more next time.

 

Well she passed with flying colors after having a new catt. installed.
