Default Ark Grip Exhaust
Been doing some research on exhausts for the RC and settled for Ark. I know CA has some strict laws on emissions and replacing the cat converter. Anyone know if the exhaust system will pass the emission test in CA?

Technically it will not but no need to worry about it. Only have to worry about it during smog time.

In addition, new cars don’t require a smog check during the first 4-5 years

Yeah I was just worried when the time comes. This would be my first exhaust purchase so I'm pretty new to the modding scene.

For those who have an Ark exhaust, are you guys experiencing a popping noise when decelerating? Not sure if that's bad for the car or not.

That crackle is normal, isn't anything bad for the engine.
