Even on dry roads the tires start spinning. My tires are Falkens with less than 5k miles. New coilovers as well. I get no traction. In the rain its just plain SCARY to drive. It gets sideways so easily. Oh yea and to the people thinking its because I have major power... I wish. Just have a few mods to add 30hp or so. Any ideas what to do?

Is it on stock rims? I was scared to drive in the rain with the stockers but now I have 9" in the back (that sounds wrong) running cheap sumitomo's and I haven't had a problem. And I've tried to get them to spin

Haha, i am in the car biz and i've seen sc's trying to go through the auction in the winter.....they have to be pushed into the auction ring.

WIth our car's being near the same as the supra, i'm always wondering about the abilitiy of traction as they are notorious for low 1/4 mi times with high mph's. Maybe hks drag coilovers are the answer but they are $$$$$ My old stang suffered with lowering springs so that's not helping in traction. At least we can fit wide tires so I would go that route

remember as the temperature drops traction decreases significantly

some wider and better tires would help. toyos t1-r , mich pilot sports, s03s. I have some falken zeix i believe in the fronts and they can barely hold traction when i hit the brakes.

I have S03's 285 in the rear and at 45 degrees or less the car will slide all over the place. Now 70 degrees and above its like glue. But I guess thats waht you get with a summer tire

Im sporting some BFG KDW 2's. Great tire, period. You wont slide anywhere. I had some Kuhmo ecsta MX's before, once again, great tire.

I'm in Houston and its 60+ degree weather 90% of the time. I've been through several tires... Pirellis, Michellins and now these Falken Ziex all seasons. After doin a 180 today in the rain and having my rear fall into a ditch I'm scared to drive this crap in the rain. What can I do??? I dont even speed in the rain.

Believe me its not a fun feeling. I do drifting, but its completly different when you're not in control. As for the tires, I believe its something deeper than the tires. Perhaps worn bushings??

I have Falken Ziex 512 and they seem to work fine for me.

I drive my TT SC300 / 6spd in the rain ALL the time...never a problem. Drove on both 275/35/18's Toyo and tiny 225/55(?)/16 snow tires!

I also have coil overs on the car.
