re-doing headliner??

Default re-doing headliner??

i want to re-do my headliner and want to use that fake suede material (alacantara). anybody have experience with tackling this job?? would i just use a special spray adhesive and apply the material im using over my existing headliner material?? any suggestions?? thanks

when my head liner was done they wraped the fabric over the exsiting. Used 3M spray adheasive(spellin?)

You should ask user leatherseats.com, I was looking threw a thread and came across a suede headliner they did.

3M does make an adhesive especially for headliners.

yes they do.

its an easy job. just spray both ur headliner, and the new fabric. then apply them together. it might have bubbles... dont worry about it. use a roller of some kind. and once it drys the bubbles will go away. alot easier then u think . and remember its not finished til its dry. so dont think it wont look right... when i first did it a couple of years ago. i thought i messed it up. and threw the piece in the corner. and in the morning i picked it up and it was perfect.
