Rip - 1999 Sc300

Found her on Ebay in January. Flew down to Texas to pick her up and drive her home at 35k miles (one owner).
Over the last ten months the car has given me no problems. I did have it for sale, since I finally got the ***** to move to a Supra, but it hasn't sold, and it never will due to this:

"Water was coming in from the other lane, and I was thinking to myself, 'I'm going to have to abandon ship,'" motorist Charlie Vanderploeg told WGN-Ch. 9. "Sure enough, I had to get out of my car and leave it. It's completely flooded."
Do I think it's fate? No, if it is - it was cruel.
The incompetence of IDOT (ILdept of transp) and city works are to blame.
The main burst at 12:40 am
The shut it off at 2: 00 am
I'd like to thank Chris (quickturbo) for the endless questions I had about this car and my turbo route.
I'd also like to thank the Chicago Lexus Club (Luke, Alex, Chris) for helping me through this difficult time of loss.
It was a bad *** car.
Mint.

A water main broke. Unfortunetly IDOT stopped the traffic too close to problem and caused a traffic jam. When water flooded the highway nobody could backup. That is how it happened.
A lot of the cars were under 4 inches of water. One of these cars was Rob's mint '99 SC300. I would be out looking for blood.
