Rip - 1999 Sc300
Found her on Ebay in January. Flew down to Texas to pick her up and drive her home at 35k miles (one owner).
Over the last ten months the car has given me no problems. I did have it for sale, since I finally got the ***** to move to a Supra, but it hasn't sold, and it never will due to this:

The break was reported around 12:45 a.m. in Hubbard's Cave tunnel near West Grand Avenue. The northbound lanes of the expressway were covered by up to four feet of mud and water, leaving some vehicles temporarily stranded. No injuries were reported.

Do I think it's fate? No, if it is - it was cruel.
The incompetence of IDOT (ILdept of transp) and city works are to blame.
The main burst at 12:40 am
The shut it off at 2: 00 am
I'd like to thank Chris (quickturbo) for the endless questions I had about this car and my turbo route.

Guess you guys don't understand.
A water main broke. Unfortunetly IDOT stopped the traffic too close to problem and caused a traffic jam. When water flooded the highway nobody could backup. That is how it happened.
A lot of the cars were under 4 inches of water. One of these cars was Rob's mint '99 SC300. I would be out looking for blood.

.... lost another SC LOL.....good luck with the supra. lately I've been leading towards a supra too.
