Default steering wheel/column stuck

Hey guys, This is actually my first post here. I am selling my s14 240sx and buying a sc300 and the one I am looking at is very nice except for the steering wheel supposedly has a burnt out motor according to the owner. The wheel moves out but not down. I assume there are two motors as this is what he has told me. Does anyone have any idea as to how difficult it would be to replace or how much it would cost to have replaced? I appreciate any responses.

Thanks and lookin forward to frequenting this forum!

I hope you are looking forward to using the search function, too, because that's where a lot of answers lie.

As an example, typing in "steering wheel motor" in the search box yields many threads discussing the subject:

I actually did search, just not well enough. Sorry about that. I did find some info on the gs series saying that it is sometimes a fuse or something. Although, the previous owner says it is the steering wheel motor so i was seeing if anyone has any direct experience with this problem or someone who has spent money to fix it.
