Default sc300>400 transmission

yes i searched.. Will a sc300 auto bolt into an sc400? If the bell housing is different, is it swappable between the two? A friend needs a transmission for his 400 really bad, and i have an sc3 tranny im trying to get rid of

some things i know.. the belhousings-of course- are different.. they can be inter changed.. but the conveter along with the input shaft is different-i think-, i believe the output shaft is also diff, and the sc400 has a switch for kickdown, while the sc300 doesnt,, among other stuff i cant think of now.. .. there are enough differences to make the conversion difficult.. your friends best bet is to locate a used v8 trans..there are plenty around.. sorry about that,, i know youd like to sell yours..
