Default 9sec SC300 video ROD KNOCK

Hit the track yesterday, and after waiting in the stagging lanes for a hours, I was able to make a pass. I added some timing, and more boost guess you could say I was asking for it. Anyways, I was having a decent pass, but got really squirly up top (in car video to come) so I shut it down going into 4th, and heard what I knew was coming. ROD KNOCK! Looks like I was making LOTS of power lastnight and had some nice ticking. I knew it was coming, just didn't know when. I've beat the **** outta this motor and it just kept taking it.

oh, I shut down going into 4th and still ran 9.97@117mph with a 1.41 60ft

I truly think that it was just the power I was making. It was in the 40's, 38psi and more timing, I was probably making over 900rw and the stock internals just didn't like.

That would be my car.

OLT, now that the car is finally down for the season, you can count on me sending my dash and climate control to you. I just want fairly basic, nothing too flashy, what do you recommend?

Also, I haven't had anytime to post, that I did pop my motor the other night at the track. It was DAMN cold, ran 38psi, more timing, and it was making way more horse!!!! Shut it down going into 4th and still ran a 9.97@117mph with a 1.41 60ft

Car will now be going down for the winter and I'll be building the motor. So next year should be very interesting

Chris
