LSD better in rain and snow?
Will getting a LSD for my SC300 help with driving in the rain and snow noticeably? Thanks.

Simply put YES: both wheels always spinning vs one on open diff.

You'd think, right? Why be in somewhat control when you can spin both wheels and simply be "along for the ride"

Incorrect. With an LSD, when going around a turn and a both wheels begin to spin, your rear will break loose that much quicker!!!

It can be a good thing and a bad thing for your driving style. Actually tires play huge role in your traction on snow or rain than lsd.

If you find that you often get stuck because only one wheel is spinning, yes, the LSD will help tremendously, but if your problem is the slight feel of losing control around a turn, it's only gonna get worse.

What Mongo said - especially for the snow, invest in a set of dedicated snow tires.
