I am going to install navigation and dvd capabilities in my car soon and wondered if my idea has been done before. My plan is to completely remove my rear seats and create a wall where the seatback would be and an amp rack where the seat cushions would be. I would use the wall to mount 2 8" subs and the Playstation 2. The amp rack portion would mount the amps and all of the other gizmos. This would all be laminated professionally and correspond with the color theme of the car.

Just wondering if anyone removed their seats to create space. Shoving a sub in the trunk just isn't going to work for me.

Dvd and navi are not a problem, you will just need to rewire the who speaker system if you intend to keep your stock speakers.

As far as the rear seats, they can be removed, but you will need find a custom compartment to fit on the area that the seats were in to fit your speakers or what ever you are going to have back there.
