Default amplifier under the front seats ?

Before undergoing the work, i would like to know if someone has done it ? i want to go with the clean look, so under the seats are the first thing coming to mind.

Been there, done that, but you are going to need an amp that is very thin to fit, as there are a lot of wires, bracketry, and motors under the seats themselves. Take a look under there and see what you have to work with. It's usually a tight fit in sedans with lots of power options.

Also, if mounting under the seat, make sure to mount the amp in a position that protects the power and signal connections from seat movement and rear passengers.

It's certainly possible, but it will limit your amp choices.

i am looking for spacing right now for a ES350, it is tight.... my other option is to hide it under the trunk mat where the styrofoam is placed for tooling and vent the area.

The amp is a Kicker DX350 monoblock, quite small, but still thick.
