As you see I have a very scratched bumper. I'm gonna have it repainted friday but would like to move the SC400 emblem from the bottom of the trunk to the right hand side in line with the other emblems. How hard is that going to be? Is that emblem in place by some glue or tape or is it bolted on some kinda way. In other words, If i remove it from the center, will there be any holes to fill in. Thanx ahead of time

If you're going to have it repainted then remove the emblem with a flathead screwdriver with electric tape on the end so you don't do more damage to the bumper. When the paint person is prepping the bumper have the holes filled in with bondo (super easy), then relocate the SC400 emblem to the right side of the trunklid, just remember that you can't use the alignment pegs because there aren't any holes there, you'll have to measure and use tape to put the emblem on straight but after that everything will be fine. I like to use 3M double-sided all weather tape on my emblems. It's thin, black, and has a red peel-away plastic backing to it. Good luck man
PS, the hardest part of this for you will be cutting the tape to fit behind the emblem without looing cheesy, I used a razor blade to get mine perfect.

3M also makes an emblem adhesive that I liike to use
My SC400 looked unbalanced too, so I got a Gold SOARER badge from Australia and put that there.
Here is what it looks like.
Some people will not like it. I do and I have been questioned by many people abiout what it means. I do not answer that question
Although I contemplated doing that as well, since I always get that unbalanced feeling when I check out my car's rear...Looks kinda wierd, but more balanced...thanks for the pic!
Screwdriver to take off an emblem? No thanks. Take a piece of fishing line and "floss" around behind it. It'll slowly eat through the adhesive without risk of damaging the paint, and do it on all sides up to the mounting tabs, then it should pull off. If you don't have fishing line, actual floss works too, but bring the whole roll as it'll keep breaking. That's the first thing I did when I bought mine to take off that stupid dealer emblem. Same thing with the Cobra too.

He's gonna get it repainted, whats the worry about the paint? A screwdriver will do the trick a lot quicker than the floss if your gonna get it repainted...not like using dental floss or fishing line takes a long time anyway. It'll take 30 seconds with a scredriver, or a couple minutes with the floss.
