Default hp racing evos

What do you guys think of the HP Racing Evos? Another clublexus member is selling a set of 18x8 and 18x9s with 38mm offset. I just want to make sure the offset and size is good for the car, if so I think I will pick them up.

That depends on what YOU consider a "good fit" imo they will look horrible. But you may like them.?

38mm will be tucked once you are lowered. I have 35mm lowered with espelirs and they tuck in a little bit too much for my liking. Front width is 8.5 and rear 9.5. You may have to use spacers.

I have that exact same setup on my 95 SC400. I think they fit great. Here's a pic for you.

Yeah, they look great on your guys' cars. Do you happen to know the weight of them, and did you notice any affects on performance after putting them on?

I dunno the exact weight of it but they are not that heavy at all. Performance is awsome with aftermarket suspension IMO. Here's mine

What kind of side skirts and rear is that? Looks amazing on your car!

This is your opinion which I'm sure is not shared by others. No way 38 offsett is too tucked. Mine are 44 front and 41 rear. That's tucked. 38 definitely sticks out a little past the body. Anything less than that sticks out too far and may not look too classy for our car. IMO 40 is the perfect offsett for the SC. It's even with the body and looks sweet. 38 is right there but I definitely wouldn't go lower offsett, especially for the front...maybe the back.

These HP's have a nice look. Would be better in 19 but 18 still gets the job done.

Tell them the specs on your wheels though so they know. Evo 18's look much smaller than Evo 19's on SC's IMO. I prefer them in 19" staggered

fitment sucks IMO. Plus I hate that style. Only thing I would rock is a 8.5 up front with a plus 17-plus 29 or a 9.5 or 10 with a plus 17-29.

FLUSH like WOAH.............. (with a little pulling )

Yes. The HPR5's come in the exact same size as stated above. I had them on my 92 SC400, but not staggered. You gotta go staggered though. Here's a pic of my 92 with HPR5's on it.
