Default bodykit

ok guys, i know mixing up OEM and aftermarket stuff is not recommended, but i oreder all the front bumber and sideskirts for the 97 conversion. I decided to go with a rear lip from a bodykit. So all i kinda want to know is what rear lip would line up best with the OEM 97 sideskirts, so it doesnt look too funny. I know some people have erebuni rear lip with OEM sideskirts. What about like VIS rear lip? is it too big? or JIC? if someone with the rear lips on could meansure the distance from top of the trunk to the bottom of the rear lip that would be awesome! either way, i need to get this done soon, so any suggestions or help would be fantastic!

ALL rear lips will look funny the 97+ side skirts. ALL will be hanging about 2" longer than OEM.

YES, it will look weird. Your body parts will not line up. Might as well just go full 97+ rear bumper and extensions.

it's going to look funny...try it out and give us all a good laugh

Not only will the rear skirt hang down lower, most of them also flare out a bit...

Might as well finish off the entire 97+ conversion...I'll be having a complete rear bumper for sale in the classifies soon!

I agree with AC, just pick up a 97+ rear bumper also.

maybe the Kuminari rear bumper would line up pretty well, but like everyone else said why not go with the 97 bumper?

You're going to try your damndest to make something "different" and go against the grain and end up with something that looks like crap. If this is your goal then carry on...if not then get a 97 rear bumper and be satisfied.

You're right, it doesn't look THAT small when comparing it to OEM. But when you have an aftermarket rear lip, yes, it does look THAT small.
