problems trying to do a burn out

before getting new tires it use to burn out with no problem. now all i hear is the motor reving up but no burn out. im going to try tire shine 2morrow and then maybe jus wetting the ground with water. i really hope its not my TQ

Thats probably because your tires are new now, so they have more grip and the car can't overcome the friction between the tires and road with the new tires. With the old tires, much less tread otherwise why would you get new tires? Less tread = less grip = less friction = easier burnouts.

Less tread = more grip
The reason for tread is to prevent hydroplaning. Performance tires usually have very little tread and alot of surface area.

I think he meant tread depth and not the contact patch area.

You can do a burnout in most anything if you try hard enough
