Default problem with gauge cluster and ac unit

Everytime I turn my key to acc, the clock turns on and when i put it to "ON" the clock turns off, the backlighting on the cluster turns on for a brief second and then turns off and the clock shuts off and resets itself back to 1:00.

I've checked all my fuses and everything is good, I also tried another cluster and everything is good. There are no coins in the cig lighter either.

The AC unit will not power on either. I'm not sure if these are related but does anyone have any ideas>?

I have this EXACT same problem after a stereo guy installed my new unit. My A/C unit works fine so I think the 2 problems are unrelated. My cars at the shop right now because he is going to pay to get it fixed so I'll let you know what they come up with.

"Take it to Lexus", those words come from the devil. LOL! Sends a bad vibe through my body when I hear that.

A ground wire was disconnected and not getting power to the gauge cluster. Dont' really know where but maybe that will help you figure out your problem.
