Default Removing Steering column

who knows how to remove the steering column on a 93 sc. or if someone could take a pic of what exsits from the keyhole all the way to the black plug under the dash that the ingnition wiring harness plugs into. mine is screwed. previous owner im tring to replace everything

thanx for any help on this

Sounds like the instructions will be similar to repairing the tilt. There's a thread on that which will get you into the column. I can't link a search due to it being a cookie oriented search that times out, but search for items relating to the "tilt" function.

thanx i looked but i didnt see anything that would help. this sc is becoming more work than i though. still worth it though

it might be easier for me to just take a pic of what i actually have. then you can fill in the blank spots.

ok what does that connect too. not on the plug side but the other side. i have one of those too but its messed up. i have an ingnition key cylinder but i have no clue how or what i need to mate it too that piece you have in that pic.

hmmmmmm i cant figure out how it mates up. i guess im missing the piece that goes in to that plug from the back of the ignition lock
