I've got a 95 SC300 5 speed with 80k and started hearing a rapid chirping noise when the clutch is completely out. Any ideas as to the problem?

its probably the Throw Out bearing....
pretty normal at the age.....if you even put a little pressure on the pedal and it goes away then it that for sure. Its not a big deal....could be like that for a few months, Its a lot of work just to change the bearing so if youre going to do it, may as well do a clutch while your at it. Or try to live with the noise until it gets worse or actually need a clutch.......dg
