Default How will X-Pipe affect exhaust sound???

How much of a factor is the X-Pipe in determing exhaust sound. I.E. - how different would the same exact system sound with and without the X-Pipe crossover? Less pulse seperation, deeper, higher, what? I did a search and although many ppl have the X-Pipe, there wasn't too much said about the sound differences. This would be on a SC400 V8.

Quieter - xpipe can offer up two mufflers to each exhaust stream.
Less pulse separation.
X-pipe is a newish invention - an SC can sound just like an old mustang etc with a traditional separate twin system - So you are probably familiar with that sort of sound.
Here is a short 575 kB video file of my X-Pipe SC400 in a drive by on the race track. It gives a good indication of approach, some throttle off, and full throttle blasting off into the distance.
A noticeable difference to exhaust sound an X-pipe makes.

I'm biased - but I rekon it sounds great too!
I also find it hard to listen to just the once.
I was driving Gary's 1JZGTE Soarer in the hills and I loved the turbo power. After half an hour or so when I got back into my car I thought there was a fllat spot on the wheels or something - doh! - it was just the pulse of the exhaust - completley different sensation to a turbo car.
