stupid question but worth a try.

currently have an is350...LMS exhaust.

i loveeee the m5 exhaust sound

anyway to make it sound like that? hahah i know stupid question, but i would do anything.... besides buying an m5 of course.

Audi sounds better IMO

 

this topic been covered before...you'll need bigger displacement V8, V10...etc to sound like that.

and there is NO way to make it sound like that unless you put that engine in your IS

 

I know what you mean about the m5 sound ....but that is V-10 for yah....there is some who lives near by me that has a kreissieg exhaust installed...talk about music!!!!! I get jealous and a boner at the same time :-)

 

I swear we just had this topic a week ago or something, some dude was trying to make their IS sound like Audi's v10

There is no way a v6 engine can sound like that.. impossible..

 

not another 2is member that wants his 2is to sound like another car....

while not a stupid question, yes, it has been covered before.

and no, your car will not sound like the v10 m5; it's just not physically/harmonically possible. as a matter of fact, you can't even make the 2is sound like any other car. every car has distinct harmonics, factors being number of cylinders, displacement, intake/exhaust design (including length/diameter of tubing), etc.

excuse me for being rude, but if you want your car to sound like another car, then you should've gotten that car.

Yeah, it's just pure power.

If our car had 500hp, the car would just naturally sound powerful. My mom has a Mercedes CLS-63 AMG and that thing just screams when you start it. It's just pure power.
