Default Replacement for dash cup holder?

Hi does someone know if there is a replacement for the semi-useless dash cup holder? I want to mound my PDA twith movein map there and one thought is to use a cupholder cell phone mount. But, the factory cop holder is very flimsy. I am looking for something sturdier.

Yes there is a replacement.... good old fashioned creativity and raw materials. If you are looking for something pre-fabbed, keep in mind it took 10 years for them to finally make us a radio mount into production.

Go to an audio store and get a stereo strap. They bend easily. Attach it to the metal frame your stereo is mounted to and then fabricate the right bends and attach it to whatever you want to use.

2 boxes of Dentyne Fire fit in there perfectly...

Jonny's got the right idea, but most stereo straps I've seen are as flimsy as the cup holder. You need something a little more solid:

a small sheet ABS plastic. and a good idea should do the trick
