After my dad advice ( have 1991 LS) today I bought Lexus too: it is 1994 SC400 Canada version 173 000 miles. I am simple happy with car
Car have some electric problems (blubs and so on) but run fine.
Really want FI for it.
But now must change fluids and belt, do something with stereo (not all speakers work), give nice wheels and HID lamps .

Nice car!!! Before you go for FI, handle all of the little things first. Your stereo speakers are probably just blown, the OEM Nakamichi cones were paper. You could save yourself some money and just replace all four.

 

I notice your bumper corner lights are clear and not orange? Is it factory cuz the car doesn't seem to be mod in anyway? yea the best thing to do is restore/replace the stock parts you are going to keep then do the upgrades.

 

sidemarks: not sure, they looks as custom made I think
about that speakers: can I use any good speakers with right size (replace) or must buy something special for work with nak amp?

Have strange problem too: at once as I drive home come check engine and trc off light together...at the same time...
Looks as apear only when tranny is in ect pwr mode... Not read that code from check engine cause do not have wire on the road
next I simple disconnect battery and that light do not come again yet. most strange is that check engine AND trc-off was light at SAME TIME and stay lid till reset ecu.

yea I had that problem of the trac and engine light on before I brought it into Lexus to fix and then they said it was the chip's programming error they reseted it and then the light didn't come back on... cost me alot though...

Try looking in the manual I'm not sure... but yea just a note I dunno why Lexus companys always thinks that people who drives lexus is rich people... Anyone noticed everytime you bring your car in they always change your windshield wipers? No matter how new it is the first thing they do is WOW new windshield wipers!!!!

Personally, I'm just a college student I can't afford so much for maintance on my car just barely surviving lolz~

 

chip's programming? strange, I think it do not have any programing chip. perhaps they simple reset ecu...
