Guys,
I am getting ready to sell my car, and the only problem with it is the rear bumper needs repainted. Should I pay the money to get it painted or just sell it as is?
After all the time and money that has gone into the car, I really don't want to give it up. New engine, new brakes, new battery, new fluids, new gaskets, new stereo, newly wired audio, so basically everything is new aside from the tranny and suspension!!
It is running great and the only thing I kind of need is an MAF sensor. Mine works 99% of the time, but about once a week the CEL goes on and then goes back off.
Lots of blood, sweat and tears have gone into it, but unfortunately I need some $$$ for attorney fees.
Anyway, I have gotten way off subject. My question is, should I spend the $200 to make the rear bumper look perfect or just sell as is?
Lemme know what u think,
Jonny

i think the buyer will be happy with the newly repainted bumper.. i mean once you are ready to buy a new car in the future, if ever, i think you'd want the same treatment done to you right? when most of my friends sell their car they repaint front bumper and hood b/c of rock chips.
