Hypermax II's are great and so are Zeal Endless coilovers. Both ride great and are fully adjustable.

After a month or so with tein basics and Dazein sway bars I can say this.

This is the roughest damn ride that I have ever had, including pickup trucks! I don't know what the problem is but it's really rough.Handles well but rough as hell.

I will be changing this out. It didn't seem bad at 1st but seems like it gets rougher everyday!

It seems like the springs are way too stiff.

JIC is the only choice. Teins shocks are not valved correct for their springs and HKS springs are to soft for the amount of weight they have to support

Does anyone else have an opinion on the Tein Basics? I've read siaxazn's review and was wonder if anyone else had them?

pilip99 - i have the hks hipermax II coilovers on my car, and i have had them on for about a month now, i drive the car about 100 miles to and from work everyday, and i can say that i love the ride. it almost rides like stock. it's very smooth and you can barley feel the bumps.

FortuneSC - hks does sell the hks hipermax d coilovers you have to order them from a hks dealer they wont be on any site. but they are very stiff and i would not recommend them on a daily driver. i was considering getting either those or the kei office coilovers. the spring rates on both of those are 20 in the front and 16 in the rear, and the hks hipermax II springrates are about 12 and 8 not sure exactly might be a little off of on my numbers for the hipermax II's. but i would not recommend getting the hks hipermax d coilovers unless you plan on doing some serious road racing.

ride comfort is not important to me i am more concerned about the performance of the car, the car is a daily driver now but when serious work is done i will no longer use is as a daily driver, but thanks for the info, any idea on the hipermax d price? or i suppose i could just contact hks myself to find out

the price is probably going to be somewhere around $2000, and probably a 2-3 month wait for them. at least that's what i was told when i tried ordering my kei office coilovers.
