Default Opinions Needed!

Thinking about some wheels for Christmas from the wife, I'm kind of tired of looking at the same stock wheels. I have a 98 black sc400 with the regular stock 5 spoke alloys 16s. I'm seriously considering the Enkei cp1's as Discount tire has a deal right now.

What do think? The description says silver machined with glossy finish, and I want as close to chrome shiny as possible without actually going there, would this be it? How rough will my overall ride get going to 18s? Also, I think it would be cool if the tires were a little more pushed to the outside kind of making the outside of the tire flush with the widest part of the body, could I achieve that with these. In general, what's your opinion. Any input would greatly be appreciated!!!

Thumbs up

in my opinion, im not really feeling that wheel at all on our cars. if you're in a budget, get something with a lip at least. but if you like the wheels, then get them. just make sure it makes you happy in the long run....

yup, whatever makes YOU happy.

Have a very merry christmas and I hope you wake up to 4 big boxes with the approximate sizes of 18 to 20 inches.

Anything in particular against or why I would not go flat-faced? What turned me on to these is seeing the similar Audi stock ones on the A4 quattro, they look real similar. Not that I'm trying to go for an Audi or European look, they just looked pretty good on a black one I saw.

Big car + flat faced wheels =

Needs a lip all the way around or just not so flat.

I don't like those either to tell you the truth. A little too plain. Look in the wheel classifieds, there's some really nice wheels for sale in there and at reasonable prices.

I don't think anyone here has those wheels so I'm free to say....I hate those wheels!
Okay, hate is too strong. I don't think those wheels work well on any car. Let alone an SC.
