after the research i've done, i seen the SC's have a common issue with power steering dripping into the alternators shortening their life span. Are there any other common problems the SC has? bad diff bearings, or whatever?

there has been a common problem to have power steering fluid drip onto the alternator and kill it. Simple as that. I guess you should try to fix the power steering issue asap before it costs u an alternator.
