SC 400 Alternator Issue

I have put four alternators on my 1992 SC400. Could the issue be the power steering leaking onto the alternator? The alternators came from Oreillys.

If your power steering pump is leaking on to your alternator then yes, that is something you should seriously consider replacing before you buy another alternator.
