Unhappy I got rocked

Well, I got rear ended on the 101 today, on the way to that mini-meet in Thousand Oaks. Pushed me into the car infront of me (a random IS300 of all cars)

damage to them in tiny, a small rip in their rear bumper cover.

-Busted driver's side headlight (high and lowbeam
-cracked front bumper cover
-I've got smoke coming out of my rear cat, rigth rear tailpipe pushed in
-crease in my rear quarter-panel
-cracked rear bumper cover
-my trunk & hood seems to be misaligned now.

My car got hit hard from behind, and I don't feel that great.

I'll post pics later

I donno guys, I'm feeling like crap.

I just got back from the ER.

After a Dr. visit, an ambulance ride to the ER, and a sweet stay @ Santa Monica Hospital, I'm feeling down.

I spent MONTHS just looking for a clean 95+ SC300 5 speed... I found it, then I had it shipped coast to coast. I have had it for a just a few months then I get rocked hardcore.

creased body panels = frame damage = I'm done with this car.

what you own, owns you.

that creased quarter can be easily replaced, even if you get another lex without paintwork, sooner or later some ahole will screw it up, unless you leave it in the garage and dont drive.

I feel your pain

BUT, broken body panels does not always mean frame damage. Also sounds like you'd need a new exhaust system.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do with the car

Sorry to hear about your SC. At least the body parts can be repaired or replaced. It's good to hear you went to the hospital.

Depression after a car accident is fairly normal. I was depressed as hell after my 92 SC was totalled but now I've got a nicer SC and everything is good. In short, things always work out for the best. Keep your head up.

well, I went back and noticed a fluid leak yesterday. The ECU, Radio, and time had reset itself, so I've got something electrical. I can't pop the hood because the lever is bent down.

Option 1)

CF Hood (paintmatched) & 97 Update

Option 2)
Stock and sell.

the tracked straight on the drive back (through las virganes & malibu canyon road none the less)

so we'll see. Having a night to sleep on it has definately helped things.

Lying back down on a stretcher in an ambulance having Docs tell you that you *may* have cranial bleeding sucks.

Further tests showed there's nothing up there to bleed
