Teaser pic 3....the final chapter
Thanks Ed, I may take you up on your offer. I do want to slam it every so often to just be fifferent, just for a run around the city. My car is my daily, can't keep it slammed.
Sherman (Scoupra) was the first person to tell me about tein, I should have gottem them then. But better late than never.
I can't wait.

Coilovers? Damn Reg you jumped in with both feet, congrats, keep in mind though with your lower ride height you may have to switch from the fat setup to conventional tire sizes, good luck.

The cs is a good choice if you can afford it since your paying the extra money so you can adjust the ride comfort to your prefference and you also get improved handling since it includes the tein pillow mounts which supposidly improves the handling a bit over the worn stock mounts. But for those who can only afford tokicos and eibachs then i'd recommend they put in another hundred or 2 to get the basics.

Oh gosh, I got home today and saw an e-mail saying the Tein's are on the way. Man, now I may have trouble sleeping. Just kidding.
Hey Eric, I shouldn't have problems with the fat rear tires. The Maya's are 41 offset where the old wheels were 40. That one size has made a difference in the rubbing issue. Remember, the higher the offset the more the wheels are tucked. The eibachs on now are really low in the back. Some angles and turns have no gap and I have no rubbing. Even with my daughter in the back. The other wheels rubbed like crazy with my 120lb baby in the back seat. It's cool.

No way in bloody hell. Working on a cars suspension is a very difficult, very time consuming job with alot of potential to screw up you car. Have a qualified shop do it, but as always get the best price.

2 hours if you know what your doing..The rear suspension is relatively easy to take out, takes no more than half hour for an experienced mechanic...Theres like an hour each side for the front end of the suspension..Sometimes bolts don't want to come out so it takes a bit longer..

It took the mechanic 4 hours to install the eibachs and tokico's. I anticipate it being a little quicker with the tein's because now he knows the car a little....but I'm not going to rush him. I want him to take all the time he needs.

it would only take you 8 hours if your a newbie and dont have the right tools or if you run into problems. If you take your time and unbolt everything slowly it should not take more than 4 hours. But if your having problem getting rusted bolts off then you may add an hour or 2.
I dont think its easy to get the job done in under 2 hours unless you've changed your struts before on the car and you know exactly what your doing. If you say it should take 2 hours at most that probably applies to honda's. But the sc just has alot of things in the way so that will add more time to the job.

The Tein CS arrived tonight...ya know I had to post a pic. They look so cool. I was expecting that yucky green color but they're a beautiful bronze. I almost changed my mind again. The Eibachs must have settled and the car rides much better. The right eibachs may have done the job. After seeing the Teins, I think I'll keep them. Take a look:
Reggie they are beautiful!!!!!
I still can't believe that you ordered them and that they have arrived at your home already..(I had to wait almost 3 months) Congrats and I can't wait for you to put them in...

I hope I got the right stuff this time. The numbers on the box are right but everything inside is in Japanese. All the pics I've seen are green. Why are mine bronze?
My bad...I just checked the Tein website. All the other coilovers were green. The CS are bronze. That makes me feel better. I CAN"T WAIT TO GET THEM ON!
