Default Front Upper Strut Bar

Hey,
I just bought myself an upper strut bar for my 95 SC400...

What kind of performace difference will I see and feel when I add my front upper strut bar to my 95 SC400?
Are there any downsides to this upgrade?
Any other feed back?

some say there are some fitment problems but Im going to try to get around it...does anyone have any personal experience installing these in the SC4?

Thanks

Shnerez,

Did you try using search on the forum to read the many threads about STBs? Try it, it works great .

Here are a few I found in a couple of seconds just putting in 'strut tower brace' and pointing at the SC forum.

Great install thread, although on a 300

well I bought one but it turned out to only fit a SC300 and not my car so I couldnt use it.
If you have the 400 than you would have to remove the lexus emblem on the engine in order for it to fit
If you have a 300 or you would remove your emblem and you want to buy mine than I can sell it to you becuase I still have it available.
Let me know.
THanks

I bought it not knowing the brand so Im sorry but I cant answer that.
As for pictures, I dont have any yet. Id have to dig it out of one of my boxes in my garage first.
It has black bases and a chrome finish on the bar.
There are no scratches, it looks like its never been installed on any car, and it looks like its brand new.
I dont know what its worth, but it just sits in my garage so its not worth much to me at all.
If your interested than just make an offer and Ill ship it right out.
Let me know asap.
THanks!

i just bought a cusco one .. the same type that was on my supra
its on its way and the bar worked amazing on the supra so i'm assuming i should be getting the same feel as soon as this one comes in.

i think i've got a pic of it.. hold on let me go find it
this was the best pic i could find on my comp..

its a flat bar, not really like the tubular ones that jic makes but cusco has a pretty good rep.

heres a couple of pics of the bar...

Although its not like that flat design, its also not rounded. The bar is actually an oval like shape and gets closer to a rectangle than some of the other bars Ive seen.
If ur interested and have some questions than just emai me at Shnerez420@aol.com

Same bar here.
No clearance issues/ no installation issues.
And it was $40 shipped....can't get much better.
