You know if they were able to pound it out all the way, or if they used some Bondo

And guess what, my SC has a nice sized dent in that same spot . Join the club

i'm in the club too. you can see some of the bondo left over from the previous repair...the body shop did a poor job. i took my car in to a good body shop and my quote was around $1200+

I wish I had my wheels I want b/c I would just have them pull the wheel fenders out too.

Seems like this is pretty common on the SC. Kinda curious as to how we have all aquired them? You all know my story, which is kinda funny b/c there was a real recent thread about letting others drive your car.

I have no clue how mine got it, It had the dent when I bought it. Thats one of the reasons why I got it for a good price. Ive been meaning to get it taken out, but Im not too good at budgeting my paychecks...

Oh well, I was actually able to hammer out most of the dent, but theres still some dents and scratches that I need to fix

I went out yesterday and finally got a estimate, well two actually. Heres the damage

First Place: $1745

Second: $1140

There both one man shops that do mostly restoration and classics. The more spendy guy came recommended from a co-worker that had him repaint a MG. The other was close to home and I had time.

I have a buddy that dose hot rods up north a hour or so, I think I'm gonna give him a call. Maybe he can hook me up. Plus I have seen his Car.....
