This is more for esthetics, but I was wondering if the gated shifers on the 98+ sc400s (auto5spd i think...) will fit in a 92sc400(auto 4spd). Did search but couldn't find anything. I think the 92 trans is 340E and the 98+ 350E, not sure though. Is an entire engine swap necessary to get this look? also what about 95 + LS400's with the similar gated shifter?

97SC gated shifter would require, engine, tranny, ECU etc etc. so no.... better to get a 97SC and have money left over. so i say no.

95LS don't know

actually i think i am wrong.

the 98+ models got the VVTI and 5speed automatic

if you were to take the tranny from a 97 year model i think you can do it. Of course you would need to take the tranny, ECU, and all the wiring to make it right. who knows.. sorry for the mistake.
