Default Fuel Pump replacement

Anyone have a DIY on replacing the fuel pump? I searched but couldn't find anything (maybe i overlooked some stuff... some links would help). I pulling the top port-hole plate out but there's not enough heigh clearance to get the bronze tube out w/ bending it to fit through the sub-opening
I already bought a new O.E. pump and filter from Autozone (yeah, i paid out the anus for it and shoulda checked w/ aliga first)
oh well... i'm just awaiting the know-how to complete the job now that I have all the parts.
Peace,
Thanks,
Dix

Sounds like your in the wrong area....that long tube is for the fuel guage sensor.
You have to remove the back seats to have access to the fuel pump.
