Im trying to replace the fuel pump on the 2002 es300. Tried searching around but couldnt find any resources. any help?? Pics or links are a help also.

Edit: Car didnt start so checked fuel pressure and it was 0. I suspect the fuel pump died.

Mine is a 2001, so I don't have your wiring diagram, but before you spend any money changing the fuel pump, check the fusible link, fuses, and relay. Also check wiring, and verify if you are getting voltage at the pump. If no voltage, than apply 12V directly to the pump and see if it than works,

Failing to check the above, you may end-up replacing the fuel pump for no reason.

Also it was simple to find the fuel pump. I just removed the back seat by unclipping the seats and removed the top closure...for anybody looking to DIY in the feature.

you gotta love Toyota engineering.......I'm so sick of dropping fuel tanks to get at the pumps.

If you end up changing the fuel pump, look into buying OEM pump from Toyota of Dallas Parts online:

I have used them and they have OEM parts for cheaper than the aftermarket $&*!.
They also have stood by their service and when I ordered the wrong part and they sent it, they sent the right part no charge and paid shipping to return the wrong one. I realize your driving the Lexus, but for most electrical parts you can just look up the same year Camry. Use logic here, of course.

here kuyayan has asked about the fuel pump and advice has been given to check voltage at pump with meter, and check fuel relay and fuse.
does anyone have pictures or know location of the relay? if the relay is bad, which contact points under the relay can be bridged to get current to the pump and thereby test the relay? which fuse and location of same?
