Cool. Hey for paint, did you use that Krylon 3-stage pearl kit I see all the time at Kragen or is that just a high heat gunmetal with high heat clear? Never seen those flavors at Kragen...

2 coats of Duplicolor auto spray in Gunmetal.....

2 coats of Duplicolor High Heat clear coat....

The job wasn't all that great..Eventually, I will redo it once I free up some time on my hands...

So wait, your base paint isn't high heat, but your clear coat is? Hmm, I wonder if that works okay? I was even trippin off using the 500-degree paint because they only had gloss black in 500-degree. My stock brakes were 1400-degree flat black. I really like that gunmetal color though...

Another idea that passed through my head was having my wheels painted black with a polished rim, and painting the calipers silver. Yay, nay?

A little OT, but Rich: you can cover the lip and paint the center gunmetal. A guy on supraforums did it. It looked HOT!

You'll probably need to repaint and touch up every now and then, but its fine....

Rich: I love your chrome TT wheels...IMO, Gunmetal wheels only go well with white and black cars....

The last one looks like the freaking batmobile!

Dennis, those look awsome and you should certainly be proud of what you have built.

Since these breaks are similar to the TT brakes. You think they will clear the TT wheels?

Question

I was hoping to do this mod also. Someone asked what brand are the rotors and please let us know. Is it possible to see a list of parts used, so I can order them from a dealer? I've called a lexus dealer in Mission Viejo, and the calipers are $290 each, but since I have a coupon for 50% off, then I think this will be a good buy. Just need to know what else I need besides calipers and rotors. Thanks in advance.
