I'm trying to buy an LSD for my 92 SC400

Question is. off of a 1993.5 to 1998 supra TT do i need just the LSD unit? or do i need the the casing also? anything else i need to do this swap? sorry if it is repeat but the search results were a little unclear.

Not positive on the 400, but with the 300, you can get the TRD LSD which is just the differential carrier assembly. The new stuff all goes back into your original bellhousing. The TRD LSD just includes the cartridge itself and reuses your existing pinion and ring gears (It think) Correct me if I'm wrong. The TRD LSD cartridge itself is in the $7XX to $8XX price range.
