Tilted wheels? Help
I was working on my car today and I happened to notice when I was putiing my wheels back on that all 4 of my wheels were tilted in
I anad Look at the back of the car and looked from the back wheels on up and I am positive they are all tilted inwards
And in the morning when I am going to work I get this annoying squeak
Only when the car is cold though! My question is what Action should I take? I believe the camber is off? Do I need the Daizen Bushing Kit or just get My car realigned. I had it aligned maybe 6 months ago
I also started to notice a shaking in the steering wheel again
I am so mad. I plan on dropping it 1" with the eibachs and getting 18X8.5 all around next month but I want everything fixed at the same time so I dont get increased tire wear. HELPPPP!

SC's (or at least Soarer twin turbos
) have natural camber, but on any car that I know of, if you take off the wheels (say to work on something) and you put them back on it definitely needs a realignment.
My car has natural camber
But I'm swapping out the rims (for 16" Supra wheels) for an interstate trip in two weeks so I don't wear out my tyres hehe

Philly,
I really don't know anymore, but I always need a realignment when I take off my wheels because I've got a habit of messing around with my suspension height
Maybe you don't, who knows. From what I know, there's quite a bit of camber adjustment available on the Soarer (twin turbo, don't know on the V8's/SC400)... It's weird to need an alignment every 6 months unless your bushes are gone (apparently, that's what I've heard as well).

Hope that helps.

Well looking at the old bushes it was clearly apparent they were well and truly stuffed. They were the reason the camber couldn't be adjusted any more...

unless you have played with the steering rack or the suspension mounts you will not change your alignment. if the tires tilt in at the top that is camber and most cars run with a little bit of camber...when you lower your car it changes the geometry of the suspension and creates camber also. if the fronts of the tires tilt in thats toe and that is something that will be fixed with an alignment. if you have excessive camber you will need a camber kit or some sort of kit to adjust it since it cannot be adjusted with the stock setup. shaking at 60 mph sounds like the wheels need balanced but if it only happens at that speed and only that speed i would take it to a shop to have it checked out for bad tires or worn suspension parts. good luck and i hope this helps.

philly it sounds to me like you might need some new springs or shocks then. you say the driver side sags more than the passenger? that would sound about right since the drivers side is used the most and would have more weight on it to sag.check to see if the car sits lop-sided that can tell if you have sagging parts. if you are planning of replacing the shocks and springs soon i say try that as it would remedy sagging springs and busted shocks. good luck
