It will run but depends on myany factors you haven't stated. How much boost are you running and what are your stock injectors size? You will definately need to lean out the low rpm ranges to get the car to idle but the rest will have to be determined on a dyno w/ a wide band.

Don't you guys even read the posts before you reply to them??? Sheesh!

To answer your question: Yes you will run rich with this setup. The stock injectors are 330cc. Putting in the 440's will make you about 25% richer with the stock AFM. Getting the AFM off a 400 should even it out exactly. In the meantime, use your AFC to pull out about 15% as a starting point. Obviously a dyno tune with a wide band is the only way to tune exactly, but you can get close with "seat of the pants". Make your adjustments about 2-3% each time and feel how she drives. It may take a week's worth of tweaking and driving, but it can be done.

Thumbs up

ok....i though i will be neglected for a very long time........

tks for yr replies and feedbacks........appreciate it.

wmulli: tks for that response. i'm only going to boost 6-8psi....not more than 8 or 9 i guess.
i think i will just have to stick with stock afm but run 440cc injectors with walbro and safc.

but what if i stick with my stock injectors but with walbro and safc and stock afm,
that shud be ok, right? i mean, i wont experience any rough idles and all?

tks again..........

Just think of A/F as a balance. You move more air, you need more fuel and vice-versa. You shouldn't have any idle issues until you get to injectors larger than about 700cc. That's where the fuel flow rate becomes more than can be compensated for by reducing the injector duty cycle.

I wouldn't try boosting on the stock injectors. They *might* be OK for a little boost, but remember the biggest risk to your motor is running lean. As for me, I don't think I'd risk it..

Lastly, if you have an OBD-I system (pre '96 I think?), the LS400 AFM is a straight bolt on. PM me if you're in the market for one as I just got an AEM and won't be needing mine anymore.
