Default Heater not hot

HI,
happy xmas- I have a question about my 93 SC400. My heater does not get warm or hot. My AC is fine. The only thing I can think that might have gone wrong was when my stereo was upgraded and they removed the OEM stereo. Could some wires not being connected this problem? Please help
