To keep things simple, I have a 94 SC400 at 76k miles with almost all stock suspension and steering components(aside from coilovers), bushings are getting old and ive been looking for LCAs for a while now, I dont fully want drift arms as I daily my car, but cant exactly find oe or anything equivalent. And suggestions are appreciated!
We go to Toyota for this. Just so happens the front upper/lower and rear upper from a 1993-1998 Toyota Supra fit onto our SC300/SC400 and include new bushings and balljoints. I recommend waiting for a 25% off sale and buying from an online supplier, I saved a lot of money by doing this.
For rear lowers, we have to go aftermarket like Figs or Ikeya Formula.

Aren't there a few companies, like Figs, that also make replacement front LCAs that are OEM+ (although much more expensive.) I guess what I'm trying to say is, I don't think it is either "drift" or OEM. There are aftermarket "OEM"-style.
@joewitafro has the answer you're looking for, but just wanted to make everyone aware of the FDF race shop LCA option. They're about the same price as OEM and are designed to serve both purposes: OEM replacement and adjustability for track/drift cars. They also do a full rear multilink setup for our cars. I've been running their RLCA, traction and toe rods for the past 5 years now. Great products and good people behind them.
The problem with many of these in-between OEM and full drift spec is that they're ****. The quality isn't there, there have been countless examples of failures but that is a risk in being broke and running cheaper parts. Additionally if you aren't a racer who does regular upkeep, then those open spherical joints will become a nuisance and squeal and potentially fail if you treat it like an OEM application.
For anyone daily driving their car, the Toyota supra front lowers/uppers is our best part for the money. There is only one "After market OEM style" that I know of and that is the Agile lower arm which uses poly SC300 bushings and a Mk3 lower ball joint although I still trust these less than supra lower arms. Those are 839 + Shipping from NZ + Tarrifs which comes out to about the same price as OEMs before discount.
I don't recommend "****." Personally, I have over 20,000 street km and 10+ lapping & drift days on my FDF rear end parts. No failures to speak of and all of the heim joins still move freely with no abnormal noises. FDF consulted the local SC community to find out what we wanted in a control arm and listened. The mockup car was a daily driver with OEM camber specs. Speak on what you have experience with, but please don't generalize.
FWIW I have the agile V2 FLCA with heim joints and they've been absolutely fine.
Now Bell Raceworks - those are actual **** with several documented track & street failures specific to the LCA's they make for our cars.

I appreciate you giving info on your experience here. I have a set of their front LCAs that I haven't put on yet and have been so curious about the heims and if should boot them as I will be 90% street, 10% autox with this build. I was planning to get the multi link next. No issues even with the occasional rain? How often do you live them? Also, how's NVH with their heims on the street?
