I know this is a really noob question but, I was replacing the head gasket on my 92 SC300 but had to leave it for a couple of months due to life. I just recently started putting it back together but I'm stuck on what this connector could be and where it goes. It's an ignition connector wire with one black side and one red side. The red side is labeled G and the black side is labeled C. Can I please have some help identifying the locations and name of this connector? Thanks in advance for any info

Pretty sure it runs from the middle port on the distributor to the actual coil mounted by the passenger side strut tower area.

I thought that too, but i already have a connect that looks identical, minus the red, that is already plugged in to the coil.

the rest of the 6 coil wires that go from the distributor to the spark plugs should be numbered on the wire or on the little caps 1-6.
Does that one say anything on the caps?
*Edit* just realized all the other ones have spark plug tubes on the end.
Perhaps you had a spare in your parts bin? or from another toyota.

The little caps have openings at different angles for the wire to go a certain direction, that one on there doesn't look right to me, but either should work if they plug in and reach.

if you want to grab a set of new wires now is a good time, NGK ones are only ones besides stock I would run.

Hello,

Looks like a Coil to Distributor High Voltage Wire, here is a Parts Catalogue showing it.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
