Yes, my car was machine sanded down to the metal, they didn't sandblasted it. They put on a test layer of black paint to see any imperfections, and sanded it off. They did alot of colorsanding to the JIC parts. They cover the windows and took off the lights, and emblems, before painting the car. I'm definitly going to post another pic, when the weather gives. I just wanted to show the club my coupe before I took the rims off this week.

 

hey guys,any suggestions on emblem placement once the paintjob is completed?

just like that is fine, but a little crowded.

i say leave the "L" in the center and the soarer underneath and scrap the other two on each respective side.

not a bad idea..i don't know but, i guess i can have these painted the same color as the body as well..weighing all options at this point..thanx!

i'm not that good with photoshop-could someone step in on this task please?...thanx in advance!- maybe pearlize "soarer" ..leave the others chrome as a sort of abstract variation...and also try one pic with all emblems pearl (2.)then invert to soarer(chrome) and pearlize the others?...thanx...just assessing all options...i dont really want to give up my emblems but,if the chrome was body colored it might not look so busy in the rear...feel me?

by the way, i personally think you should leave the emblems just as they are. nice and classy.

not feelin' it myself. looks good, but too dark and not as classy. JMO ...but OK.
