What ever you do don't move to plano TX ! its just as bad here, the kids don't even have to take a physical drivers test ! mummy just fills in the time sheet!
Suv's/trucks have an automatic right of way here,i think it's sumfin to do with being raised up higher in the cab us peasants don't stand a chance.
I wish i was still COOL like you but now i have a short fuse!.... there's no accounting for bad manners!
well, just a some back/knee pains....no broken bones(thank godness!).
The insurance co came down to the body shop today to assess all the damages-( i made out pretty well) so, i'm looking into daizen bushings for the rear and/or whatever else is available suspensionwise,-shock,springs(adjustables),etc....maybe now is the time to look into upgrades.
any suggestions???
yeah, see how the damage doesnt penetrate the skin of the car much, just a glancing blow. Like i said earlier, you didn't get much of the potential energy of the impact that way, and turning was a great reaction. what actually helped the most is that you didn't get turned "too far" before he hit so you got the best case scenerio. just a slightly off angle glancing blow.
car looks like ( you know what), but it'll be great again soon.
D, I cant even stand to see the car like that man!! to be totally honest though, it doesnt look as bad as I thought! Like OLT said its really a "graze" type thing. As far as suspension goes, we'll talk!!
Aw man, I just found out about this thread after seeing the UN-godly pictures of your black SC in the CL gallery. I'm so deeply sorry to hear about the accident, but after reading the rest of the posts, it seems like you'll be coming back to one stronger piece (and much more). I've always admired your detailing tasks on your car (i.e. gotta break out the Meguiar's spray and dress up those tires) Don't let this curse get in the way of the things you love to do on your car. I hope to see you around soon in Brooklyn or in the next NE meet
Deron i just read about the details of the accident, I'm so sorry, but I'm glad you are o.k. listen kid
although this may hurt like hell and i fill your pain, this may be a blessing indisguise i have just
the lawyer for you call dgot20s to get my cell number. And your lexus family luvs you man !

Maybe do black but put some kind of custom color in the clearcoat? i saw a guy with a silver A4, but he had some custom clearcoat, it made his silver car look like the M/B horizon blue from certain angles, and have a pearlescent hue from others, just a thought
yeah, something noticeably tasteful but a proper highlight to enhance the color,-for example: how do i get that deep, deep rich color (black) out of the paint?..it's like black onyx isn't black enough for me!
