There are pics on this site. http://www.intellexual.net/faq.html

Try PMing Steve Gans from Carson Toyota or you can check out www.importfan.com . My understanding is that Steve can get you a better deal though.

You can also get a really good deal on it from Horsepowerfreaks.com for $1064.70. Best advertised price I've seen for it so far...

can anyone give me a good estimate on how much painting/installing the kit to match the factory paint would cost (paying someone else to do it of course ) -- ive heard estimates anywhere from 200-1000$

I've heard of some fiberglass issues w/ the JIC kit. This is only from one person but he's having one hell of time to get Steve or anyone at JIC to take care of his problem. Just thought I'd throw out some info I've seen/heard.

I got my kit done for 700 installed and paint...I would never recommend Macco, they are the worse and they charge an arm and 2 legs for their piece of !@## work...

I would recommed you take your kit and bring it to a reputable shop where you'll get it done right the first and last time..

Cracking in the fiberglass (front bumper). Its not on any stress points and he hasn't hit anything. From what I've been told hes taken it back to body shop several times only to have the same issue. I don't have all the specific details at this moment so anyone who wants to know more his situation I can give you his account name on here.

I think this is because he had damaged the kit before...It's probably cracked on a weak point where it holds the kit up..I have kinda the same problem, my front bumper came in cracked at the near INNER edge of the headlight..I had it fixed by the body shop and it turned out ok but not 100% perfect like it was before..

Then I let this idiot drive my car, and he drove it right into the edge of his brick stone garage..The kit overall held up pretty well except for that same spot I mentioned before which cracked again..

This is a pretty thick quality kit, I went through hell with it (I live in NYC) and it's still doing pretty good..(knock on wood)..I bottomed out countless times and it just seems to be very durable...The front bumper is probably twice the weight of my factory bumper, it just comes to show how much fiberglass is used to actually make the kit..

errr no, i didn't damage the kit before. the cracks stretch from one side of the bumper to the other, not along any points, just a very broad and wide area. the jic people replied back quickly when i directly contacted them. they were helpful, so with school out, i now have time to sand down my bumper and get those pics they requested. even though i don't want to sand it down and drive around with it like that, it needs to be done. sigh.

yeah, the jic fiberglass is pretty thick but i thought my front bumper was considerably lighter than my oem bumper (because of the fiberglass).
