According to the IIHS, the headlights for the RZ are only acceptable
[...]For those that own an RZ, is this noticeable?
I have neither NX nor RX to compare against, but I do find RZ's low-beam headlights the weakest among all the other cars in my garage: BMW (Xenon), Honda (LED), Tesla (LED).
It seems like their cut-off is aimed too low, and they simply do not provide enough forward illumination in low-beam setting. Thus, the need to turn on the hi-beams way too often.

It's not bad or dangerous, just sub-optimal.
YMMV,

I assume you had Lexus service check the cut-off level?
With respect to the question, I haven’t driven this vehicle enough at night to have formed an opinion yet. However, I have owned a number of Lexus vehicles and in my opinion, Lexus is very conservative with their elevation aim. The dealer agreed to tweak them up a tad with two earlier models, but the last couple of requests have resulted in the typical “aimed to factory specs” blowoff. I would presume these tests were conducted with the factory aim so the results do not surprise me
Yes, absolutely. It’s one of a small handful of complaints I would have about the car, mitigated by the fact that night driving is very limited in this car for us given our lifestyle. The low beams are mediocre at best. Not dangerous but an annoyance. I don’t have other modern Lexuses to compare to but they are worse than my 1995 LS400 or my 2019 Subaru Outback. FWIW I have a 2023 RZ450e.
I have not driven the earlier models, but for 2026 I have driven this vehicle few times at night and don't see any issue with lights. After reading the comments and driving this last night, I took no exception to lights. It was bright and well lit.
I drive at night across desert roads with zero street lights completely black. Lights are bright and track well down the road. In general most cars leds are waaaayyyy too bright imo.
